I feature a unique art style made from gourds, longleaf pine needles, antlers, feathers, and other natural items. In addition to custom gourds, I also make beautiful, handmade pine needle baskets, many of which are combined with gourds. My husband, Mark, who had retired from wood working, is hand-turning beautiful wood and resin items, many showcasing beautiful burls. An adorable giraffe, created from a curly handle dipper gourd and a Tennessee spinner gourd, sits on a spike antler. The small tine of the antler sports a metal giraffe charm with imitation stones embedded. Such a cute display piece that everyone will love. 13” tall, 9” at its widest point and 6” deep.
