I feature a unique art style made from gourds, longleaf pine needles, antlers, feathers, and other natural items. In addition to custom gourds, I also make beautiful, handmade pine needle baskets, many of which are combined with gourds. My husband, Mark, who had retired from wood working, is hand-turning beautiful wood and resin items, many showcasing beautiful burls. This southwest style gourd is beautiful in its simplicity. It's circled by a series of turquoise and bronze colored geometric shapes. The skin of this particular gourd is lighter in color than is normally found, adding to its uniqueness. It's 7" wide, 7" tall and 20" in circumference.
